Vicenterra introduces its latest creation, the AstroLUNA T5 Blue Papillon !

Newest creation from Vincent’s imaginary world, the AstroLUNA symmetrically integrates the Moon in 3D with its older sister, the Earth, and its little golden Sun. Displaying the perpetual moon phases with a rotation of one turn in 29 days, 12 hours and 45 minutes, it will stay precise for 126 years.

The globe is made up of a dark side and a light side on which a white Superluminova undercoat is applied. It is covered with lunar patterns by the skills of a miniature painting artist. At night, a bluish luminescence substitutes for the white color and reveals the enlightened face of the Moon.

On the earth surface, oceans and seas are also meticulously hand-painted. Thanks to a small solid gold sun showing the zenith, and thanks to the 6AM & 6PM markers, you can locate in a glance the geographical areas on the Earth where it is noon, 6AM, 6PM, and night.

These two celestial bodies are enhanced by a starry galaxy in aventurine glass set in the background. Its Prussian-blue dial is finely CNC-engraved with a diamond tool, creating an effect reminiscent of the fluttering wings of a butterfly, floats above a complex mechanism discreetly revealed on the border. The Earth, the Moon and the Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier self-winding haute horlogerie caliber appear on the back of the watch. It is enhanced with the exclusive module developed by and for Vicenterra.

Inside the stylish polished titanium case, whose colors and glints enhance light effects, there are these poetical and mechanical complications. Two years of lunar travel were necessary to create this original design, which nonetheless features many of Vicenterra’s signature subtleties.

The AstroLUNA model is also available in a classic round version with a diameter of 41.5mm.

Limited to 49 numbered pieces, the AstroLUNA will provide the lucky owners with a not only unique creation, but also with a Swiss know-how testimony. The AstroLUNA timepiece is manufactured in the Swiss Jura Mountains by local craftsmen who are very proud to bring it to life!
