Vicenterra introduces its latest creation, the AstroLUNA Black Aventurine !

Newest creation from Vincent’s imaginary world, the AstroLUNA symmetrically integrates the Moon in 3D with its older sister, the Earth, and its little golden Sun. Displaying the perpetual moon phases with a rotation of one turn in 29 days, 12 hours and 45 minutes, it will stay precise for 126 years.

The globe is made up of a dark side and a light side on which a white Superluminova undercoat is applied. It is covered with lunar patterns by the skills of a miniature painting artist. At night, a bluish luminescence substitutes for the white color and reveals the enlightened face of the Moon.

On the earth surface, oceans and seas are also meticulously hand-painted. Thanks to a small solid gold sun showing the zenith, and thanks to the 6AM & 6PM markers, you can locate in a glance the geographical areas on the Earth where it is noon, 6AM, 6PM, and night.

In the background, black aventurine sprinkled with a galaxy of stars magnifies these two celestial bodies. The dial is glittering with a multitude of lights, floating above a complicated mechanism discreetly revealed around the rim. On the back of the timepiece, the Earth, the only blue planet in this context, the black Moon and the Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier selfwinding movement appear in the same decor. A caliber complemented by the exclusive module specially developed by and for Vicenterra, both adorned in a dark anthracite hue.

These poetic and mechanical complications are housed in an elegant polished titanium case whose dark coloration and black metallic reflections transcend the light’s games and effects. Two years of lunar journeys were necessary to achieve this original design, which nevertheless retains the many identity subtleties specific to Vicenterra.

The AstroLUNA model is also available in a classic round version with a diameter of 41.5mm.

Limited to 25 numbered pieces, the AstroLUNA Black Aventurine will provide the lucky owners with a not only unique creation, but also with a Swiss know-how testimony. The AstroLUNA timepiece is manufactured in the Swiss Jura Mountains by local craftsmen who are very proud to bring it to life!
